more than fifty years we have designed, manufactured,
and marketed heaters and heating systems used in various
industries including printing/graphic arts and materials
development and processing. Initially
established to develop infrared-based heating systems
for the aerospace industry, our product offering has
evolved into a wide variety of individual heaters and
integrated heating systems. The Speed-Dri®, Roll-Dri®,
and Web-Dri® products are all heating systems considered
industry standards within the print media and graphic
arts markets.
Products
within the ChamberIR®, LineIR®, StripIR®,
SpotIR®, PanelIR®, Hi-TempIR®, Lo-TempIR®,
and ControlIR® brand families are used both individually
and within integrated heating systems. These heaters
and systems can be found in many different industries
including plastic and rubber processing, metal heat-treating,
electronics manufacturing, and material testing.
In
2005, Research acquired Online Energy, Inc., a manufacturer
of ultraviolet curing systems. The acquisition includes
the Model 1000 UV Curing System for wet offset presses
and the Model 3000 Instant Start UV Curing System for
narrow web flexographic presses. The acquisition broadens
Research Inc.’s capabilities as an ink drying
leader now offering both infrared and ultraviolet technologies.
